Design Driven By Necessity
After having his firearm storage compartment sold due to a change in bedroom furniture, our founder went to work to come up with an alternate place to store his firearm for quick and easy access at night. One day while out hiking with his best friend Gunnar, it came to him that to protect his family, he would need to get to the door and either go through it and confront the threat or close and lock it and wait for the authorities. Either way, storing the firearm at the door seemed like the best plan. That night he also realized that the door opening could be seen even in the dark. So on a few trial runs, he determined that it was easy and quick to find the door and door handle, once you find that, you know right where your firearm is. The beauty of it is that no one else knows it’s there. Whether it’s your bedroom, living room, entry, or even garage/shop, you can have quick, reliable, and easy access to your firearm. After a few sketches, the Door Gunner was born.
